Tech Lead Position
We’re looking for a creative yet systematic and structured, energetic, driven and business oriented Tech Lead – or aspiring tech lead, who is ready to join us as we continue to grow and expand our business – the first of its kind one-stop digital platform for self-employed people, freelancers, project workers, independent consultants, entrepreneurs. The position
As our Tech Lead, you’ll be part of our small and agile tech development team – working closely with the entire team of Doerscircle. You will be responsible for setting the direction and building the overall tech strategy and roadmap – with the outset in user needs and market feedback. Also, you will be part of setting, developing and growing the tech dream team as we grow.

- You have solid and relevant experience.Ideally as a full stack developer.
- You have solid and proven experience withJavaScript – Vue.js and node; as well as Postgre SQL.
- You are creative in your way of solving problems and creating new user experiences; yet you are structured and systematic and have experience with project management and ideally with leading and motivating teams.
- You are hands-on with a ‘can do’ mentality.
- You love to be part of a team – to learn and to develop yourself.
- You are challenging the status quo for the greater good.
- You have 8+ years of experience.
Your competencies include:
- Experience in building B2C/B2B platforms using either of the following stack: Vue.js/Nuxt.js, React.js/ Next.js, Svelte/Sveltekit (we're currently using Nuxt)
- Experience with mobile-first, SEO-friendly, highly-performant web application
- Experience with API-driven development (REST/GraphQL)
- Strong JavaScript/ES6+/HTML5/CSS skills
- Knowledge of Functional Programming and OOP paradigms
Your focus
- Continuously set the direction for and build the overall tech strategy and roadmap – securing a state-of-the-art platform with a unique user-experience and the highest level of security.
- Together with the DO team, prioritise proper initiatives to support and secure successful implementation of the tech strategy and roadmap – leading us to the state-of-the-art platform.
- Work closely with the DO team to successfully implement the initiatives and development.
- On a daily basis take active and practical part in making any adjustments and updates needed on the platform –i.e. take active part in making the coding needed. This includes, but is not limited to, adjustments and updates on existing user experience features, implementing new user experience features, adjusting and/or implementing new user logic, getting new partners on the platform, creating new standard APIs for partner integration etc.
Location
- You will ideally be working from our hub in Singapore– however, we are flexible if you are the right candidate.
